🌸 In Full Bloom Showcase Registration

We are excited to invite our students to participate in Dynamic Movement’s Spring In-House Showcase, “In Full Bloom,” taking place on Sunday, May 31st.

This special production will feature performances in acting, singing, dance, and gymnastics, highlighting the growth, dedication, and artistry of our performers. This will be a hybrid youth and adult showcase, with rehearsals taking place during regularly scheduled classes.

📅 Rehearsal Schedule

7-Week Rehearsal Period

• Rehearsals Begin: Weekend of April 18th

• Final Rehearsal Weekend: May 30th

• Show Date: Sunday, May 31st

All rehearsals will take place during the performer’s regularly scheduled class time.

Because this showcase integrates both youth and adult classes, any class currently on the schedule is eligible to participate, provided the class meets the minimum number of performers required to move forward with the production.

We will also be scheduling a professional filming day May (exact date to be announced).

🌸 Enrollment Tiers

To help us organize choreography, costumes, and overall production planning, enrollment will follow a tiered structure:

🌷 Early Bloom

Enroll by March 21st — $25 per performance piece

🌼 Full Bloom

March 22nd – April 4th — $30 per performance piece

🌺 Last Bloom 

April 5th – April 18th — $40 per performance piece

Late enrollment may be subject to space and costume availability.

🎭 Performance Participation

Show participation is per routine (per class).

If a student is enrolled in multiple classes and would like to perform in multiple routines, each routine requires its own showcase enrollment fee.

Classes must meet a minimum number of performers in order to be included in the showcase. If a class does not meet the minimum requirement, performers may be offered the opportunity to join another routine.

✏️ Class Selection

Please list the class(es) you would like to participate in for the In Full Bloom Showcase.

Examples:

• Monday 5:15 Gymnastics 

• Tuesday 4:15 Jazz

• Thursday 7:30 Hip Hop

• Saturday 12:45 Ballet

Performers may participate in multiple classes.

🌟 Opening Number (Optional)

We will also be choreographing a special opening number featuring a fusion of:

• Jazz

• Hip Hop

• Contemporary

Rehearsal Schedule

Opening number rehearsals will take place every other Sunday and are 2 hours long.

Rehearsal Dates:

• April 19th

• May 3rd

• May 17th

Time:
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Because this routine will only rehearse three times, dancers must be present for all three rehearsals in order to participate in the opening performance.

Participation in the opening number is optional, and additional details regarding enrollment and any associated fees will be announced soon.

🎥 Filming Day

A professional filming day will take place on one Sunday in May.

This filming day allows performers to receive professionally captured footage of their routine. The exact date will be announced once scheduling is finalized. 

👗 Costume Information

Costumes for the In Full Bloom Showcase will vary depending on the class and performance piece. Our goal is to keep costumes simple, affordable, and appropriate for each performance style while still creating a polished performance experience for our dancers.

Some classes may have studio-purchased costumes, while others may use studio-approved attire or items dancers may already own. 

If a costume is required for your class, your instructor will provide the details including the costume style, requirements, and ordering deadlines.

Please note that costume costs are separate from the showcase enrollment fee and will vary depending on the routine.

Costume Guidelines

• Costumes will be determined by each instructor based on choreography and performance style.
• Some routines may require a purchased costume, while others may use coordinated attire such as dancewear, studio colors, or athletic wear.
• All costumes must be approved by the instructor to ensure consistency for the performance.
• Performers are responsible for bringing their costume to the showcase and ensuring it fits properly prior to the performance.

To maintain a cohesive look for each routine, individual costume substitutions or changes will not be permitted unless approved by the instructor.

Important Participation Policy

Once registered, show enrollment fees are non-refundable.

We will be moving forward with the showcase based on confirmed enrollment numbers to ensure we meet the minimum requirements needed to produce the show. Because choreography, scheduling, and production planning begin immediately after enrollment closes, refunds cannot be issued.

We encourage performers to enroll early to secure the lowest participation rate and guarantee their placement in the showcase.

• Rehearsals will take place during regularly scheduled classes from April 18th – May 30th

• The showcase will take place May 31st

• Participation is per routine/class

• Classes must meet minimum enrollment requirements

• Enrollment fees are non-refundable
