About the Showcase

Join Dynamic Movement LA for Hart of the Holidays, an annual holiday showcase bringing together local dance studios, students, and high schools to celebrate the season through live performances!

This exciting opportunity allows DMLA students to showcase their talents, gain valuable stage experience, build confidence, and perform alongside other talented artists from our community.

🎭 Participating Classes & Performances

The following classes will be preparing special holiday-themed performance pieces:

Students may register for any eligible performance pieces they wish to participate in.

Minimum Enrollment: Each performance piece must have at least 4 registered students to proceed.

📅 Mandatory Rehearsals

Rehearsal Period: November 14 – December 11, 2026

All participating students are expected to attend their scheduled rehearsals throughout the preparation period.

• Rehearsals will take place during the participating classes' regularly scheduled days and times unless otherwise communicated.

• All scheduled rehearsals are mandatory to ensure students are prepared for the performance.

• Students are responsible for learning and retaining their choreography, formations, and performance material.

• Additional rehearsals or adjustments may be scheduled if necessary, with advance notice provided to families.

• Excessive absences may affect a student's eligibility to perform, at the discretion of DMLA management and instructors.

Please ensure your student can commit to the rehearsal schedule before registering.

👗 Costumes & Performance Attire

Each participating performance will have designated costume or attire requirements determined by the instructor.

• Costume details, including colors, clothing, shoes, accessories, and styling, will be communicated after registration.

• Costume expenses are not included in the $35 performance registration fee.

• Families are responsible for purchasing or providing the required costume items by the designated deadline.

• Some pieces may use clothing or accessories students already own to help minimize additional expenses.

• Students must arrive on performance day with their complete costume and required accessories.

Any specific hair, makeup, or additional presentation requirements will be communicated closer to the showcase.

💳 Registration Fees & Payment

Hart of the Holidays Registration Fee: $35 per performance piece

Registration fees are charged individually for each performance piece.

• 1 Performance – $35

• 2 Performances – $70

• 3 Performances – $105

After submitting the registration form, DMLA will review the selected performances and process the applicable fees through the student's Momence account.

Registration is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

📋 Registration & Cancellation Policy

All registration fees are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

• Registration fees cannot be transferred to another student, performance, class, membership, or future event.

• No studio credits or refunds will be issued for voluntary withdrawals, scheduling conflicts, missed rehearsals, or failure to attend the showcase.

• Students must meet the mandatory rehearsal and participation requirements.

• If DMLA cancels a performance piece due to insufficient enrollment, affected families will receive a refund of the registration fee for that piece.

• Costume purchases and related expenses are separate from the registration fee.

By submitting a registration form, families acknowledge and agree to these performance policies and authorize DMLA to process the applicable registration fees through their account.

Additional information regarding performer arrival times, check-in, dressing areas, showtime, and performance-day procedures will be communicated to registered families closer to the event.

Performers will be expected to arrive on time, fully prepared, and with all required costumes and accessories.
